FAQ
How does the $25 styling fee work?
Your $25 styling fee is credited toward everything you keep from your box. Keep a $30 top and you pay $5. Keep $150 worth of pieces and you pay $125. Keep nothing and the fee covers your stylist’s time.
Is this a subscription? Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You choose how often boxes arrive, and you can change that anytime in your client profile. You can skip a box or cancel before styling begins on your next box. Prefer no subscription? You can order a single box anytime.
What size range do you carry?
We carry petite sizes 00P to 20P, made for women 4'6" to 5'4". Within that range, our stylists work with every body shape.
Can I request specific items or give my stylist feedback?
Absolutely! We welcome all feedback and you can specifically request what items you'd like to see in your next box.
Are your stylists real people?
Yes! Every Short Story stylist is a real human who personally works on your box.
What is your return policy?
Returns are always free and easy. Try-on at home, keep what you like, and return the rest.
